The Sheely Chiropractic Health and Wellness is a modern health care facility that specializes in providing treatment for chronic and difficult conditions of the neuro - musculo - skeletal system. The Clinic provides current "managed care model' type case management for all conditions treated in the clinic. Statistics of the effectiveness of patient outcomes are constantly monitored with objective testing.

Patients are treated using modern equipment and techniques, including cryotherapy, hydrocollator therapy, electrical muscle stimulation therapy, interferrential therapy, russian stimulation, ultrasound therapy, motorized intersegmental mobilization and distraction therapy, muscle rehabilitation with exercise education instructions, and specific skilled manipulation (adjustments) of the spine and joints of the body. Nutritional and lifestyle and weight loss programs using the ChiroThin system is provided considering individual goals and needs. Patients are cared for by trained, efficient, and qualified staff, who are both friendly and professional.

As the Clinic Director of Sheely Chiropractic Health and Wellness, Dr. Sheely is responsible for overseeing all aspects of program development, staff supervision, and the provision of chiropractic care. Sheely Chiropractic Health and Wellness has been providing service since 1980.

Appointments

Appointed by Governor Voinovich to Ohio's Citizens Advisory Committee for the Health Department and the Health and Human Services Department.

Dr. Sheely was also appointed to a Quality Care Assurance Committee by Governor Voinovich.

Dr. Sheely was appointed by Governor Voinovich for a four year term to the Ohio State Board of Chiropractic Examiners.   He was was re-appointed to a second four year term by Governor Taft ending in December of 2003.

Published Articles

Dr. Sheely has published several articles nationally, in "Chiropractic Economics', "The Journal "(the official publication of the Ohio State Chiropractic Association), and in "Dynamic Chiropractic ." He co-authored a paper on standards of care, presented at the International Conference on Spinal Manipulation (1990) and published in the Journal of Manipulative Therapeutics (JMPT). Many of his health articles have appeared in local newspapers.

Community Involvement

Dr. Sheely has been a guest speaker for numerous schools, colleges, clubs, universities, companies, business groups, and service organizations, radio and television shows and has lectured widely on muscle tension, stress, healthier lifestyles, and positive attitudes. He has displayed a broad range of community interests with involvement in the following organizations: Local Chambers of Commerce, Trenton Lions Club, Trenton Historical Society, Community Improvement Corporation, Trenton 175th Celebration Committee, Solid Rock Church's Royal Rangers (a Christian outreach ministry for boys between the ages of five and seventeen). He served as the Ministry Head for Solid Rock Church's Media Ministry for 17 years.
